Gnomish Banners!

The Gnomish cantons fiercely defend their independence from Human and Dwarf imperial ambitions. As such, each canton takes great pride in unfurling their Canton's standard when marching to war. Though generally diminutive, gnomes make a point of waving flags as big if not larger than other races.

A gnomish army waves many flags. In addition to the Cantonal standard, the gnomenhauf typically has flags for each guild, feudal estate, or hamlet that compose its forces. As such the banners reflect aspects of the many places and associations of gnomes.

The idea for a sheet of printable banners comes from one of our recent Kickstarter backers. Following  this request we reached out to the skilled Aaron Howdle. In exchange for a heap of gnomes he drafted this wonderful sheet of gnomish banners for our army. The banners are filled with wonderful imagery including various foxes, squirrels, deer, swallows and trees.
